Keystone application · Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Vigia

Business Central knows everything about your business. You still have to be at your desk to read it. Vigia puts order intake, revenue, margin, receivables and cash forecast in your pocket, read live from your ERP, read-only.

The problem

The figures sit in the ERP, the decisions are made elsewhere

A director does not spend the day inside Business Central. He is in meetings, on site, on the road. When he wants to know where the month stands, he asks someone for a dashboard, and that person rebuilds it once more in a spreadsheet.

  • The figures exist in the ERP, but it takes ten pages to reconcile them
  • The dashboard travels as an attachment, always in an outdated version
  • Nobody knows which invoices are overdue without running another extract
  • The cash forecast is rebuilt by hand, every week
  • Across several companies, there is no instant consolidated view

How it works

Six indicators, a single source

Vigia reads Business Central live and never writes anything back. The six screens follow the same logic: a figure, its comparison, its month by month trend, then the detail down to the document. You go from the group to the company, from the company to the customer, from the customer to the invoice.

01 · Overview

The four indicators at a glance

Order intake, revenue, margin and receivables on a single screen, for the whole group or for one company. Three views to choose from: the current year, the comparison to budget, the comparison to last year.

  • Instant multi-company consolidation
  • Budget and last year toggle on every indicator
  • Month by month trend under every figure

02 · Order intake

What came in, what is left to invoice

This year's orders by customer, by job or by salesperson, with the invoicing and settlement rate of each one. The open order book is one tap away.

  • This year's orders and the balance of prior years
  • Invoicing and settlement rate per order
  • Open order book

03 · Revenue

Split along your own dimensions, not ours

Revenue reads by customer, by job or analytical dimension, and by salesperson. Vigia detects the dimension your accounting really uses: Business Central jobs, or one of the two global dimensions.

  • Automatic detection of the job dimension
  • The real name of your dimensions, not a generic label
  • Cross view of customer, job and salesperson

04 · Margin

The real margin, from value entries

Margin is computed from Business Central value entries, not rebuilt from average prices. It compares to the target rate or to last year, month by month.

  • Margin rate by customer, by job, by salesperson
  • Configurable target rate
  • Comparison to last year's margin

05 · Receivables

What is owed, and for how long

Customer balance by ageing bucket, DSO month by month, and the detail invoice by invoice with the delay of each one. The total or overdue toggle works on all three dimensions.

  • Four ageing buckets, aligned with Business Central
  • Actual DSO, compared to target or to last year
  • Drill down to the invoice and its delay

06 · Cash forecast

What is coming in, what is going out

Real bank balance, then the receipts and payments expected over 7 to 90 days: overdue and upcoming invoices, orders left to invoice, purchases received not invoiced, payroll and VAT. The real payment terms of each party are applied.

  • Due dates computed from Business Central payment terms
  • Purchases not invoiced, received and not received, kept apart
  • Forecast dates you can enter, stored on the device

Setup

One extension, one connection, nothing else

Vigia has two parts: a Business Central extension that exposes read-only aggregates, and a web app you install on your phone like a native app. No intermediate server stores your figures.

01 · Customer card

From the group to the document, without a break

Every line opens. A customer gives its revenue, its margin, its invoicing status, its receivables by ageing, and its splits by job and by salesperson. The same card serves a job or a salesperson.

  • The same screen for a customer, a job, a salesperson
  • Cross splits on every available dimension
  • Direct access to orders and invoices

Read-only, no exception

The extension only exposes read queries, and the app only issues read calls. The account used holds the D365 READ permission set. Vigia cannot write anything to your ERP.

Your Microsoft account

You sign in with your usual Microsoft account. You only see the companies and the data your Business Central rights already allow.

No central storage

Your figures are held on no Keystone server. They are read from Business Central, then kept on the phone for the next launch. Signing out clears them.

Six languages

French, English, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch. The app follows the phone language.
